Discreet and flexible
AXIS FA4115 Dome Sensor Unit is designed for discreetness and flexibility, and should be used with the separately sold AXIS FA54 Main Unit. You can mount the palm-sized sensor unit on the surface of walls or ceilings, and you can manually pan, tilt, and adjust the field of view. It is ideal for indoor use in stores, banks, hospitals and airports.

AXIS FA4115 comprises an image sensor with 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a varifocal lens that provides between a 53° and 99° horizontal field of view. In tele mode, a close-up view allows finer details to be captured. In wide mode, more of a scene can be covered. Support for Axis Corridor Format enables optimal coverage of vertically oriented areas such as aisles and corridors.

Excellent details
AXIS FA4115 supports Forensic WDR (wide dynamic range) at all times, enabling details to be visible even in high-contrast lighting conditions, such as in a backlight scenario where you have a person standing in front of a very bright background. The sensor unit, together with the main unit, prioritizes the darker areas of such a scene, enabling colors and details to be clearly visible. The WDR technology in AXIS FA Series products is also optimized for motion, so there is no motion artifact when a fast-moving object passes by. In low light scenes, AXIS FA4115 delivers excellent color video with low noise.

Flexible modular concept
AXIS FA4115 is part of the AXIS FA Series, which is based on a divided network camera concept, where the camera is split into a sensor unit (made up of a lens and image sensor) and a main unit (the body of a camera), and are connected together via a cable. The flexible design allows the small sensor unit to be installed where needed and the main unit to be placed where there is space.

AXIS FA4115 comes with an 8-m (26 ft) detachable cable for connection to an AXIS FA54 Main Unit. An optional 15-m (49 ft) long cable is also available. The sensor unit also comes with a plate for easy mounting, even on top of counters and shelves.
