• USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 have been renamed to USB 3.2 Gen 2, with transfer rates reaching up to 10 Gbps.
• The new USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard supports transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps.
